Their approach is straightforward. You explain your financial situation and your objectives and the team will develop a bespoke plan designed to help. All advice is simple, jargon free and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
As well as mortgage advice, the team offers a range of financial services which are designed to help you.
Whilst not a pleasant thing to think about, it is always worth insuring yourself against an undesirable event such as sickness or even death. The benefit of having finances set aside for issues such as these should never be overlooked.
There are many ways in which a family can protect itself and many different policies. By explaining your situation to the team they can find the right solution for you.

Savings and Investments
Most of us put away a certain amount of money each month, whether this is for something or someone special or just for a rainy day. Your savings income may come from a salary or perhaps from an investment.
Savings and investments can be different. Savings are generally set aside and can easily be accessed at any time. Investments are usually held for longer terms, of at least 5 years. Some investments are also not guaranteed to return your money in full and can be risky.
Whether you are looking to generate the best return on your savings, or would prefer to invest, we can look at a bespoke solution that matches your situation.
If you die without a will then your estate will be inherited in accordance with the rules of intestacy. Often these do not reflect the wishes of most people. If you are unmarried for example. your partner may not get anything.
Also, if you do not make provisions for young children then the authorities will decide who is best placed to look after them. This can be hugely upsetting or disruptive. Again, if you are unmarried then your partner will not automatically become the guardian.
Having no Will in place may also mean your ex-spouse may be entitled to claim all or part of your estate.
Having a Will will alleviate any of these issues. However, it must be done professionally to work. The correct Will helps your family to understand:
- Who inherits your estate (either the whole estate or specific times)
- Who receives any gifts, be it family, friends or charities
- Who you wish to appoint as suitable guardians for young children
- Plus more
We would recommend you amend any existing Will ever 2 to 5 years as your circumstances could change.
It’s not just Wills our team can advise on – They can help with inheritance tax and probate.
All UK businesses who employ at least one person must now put a workplace pension scheme in place. They also have to contribute towards it. This can be complicated and enrolment depends on employee age, wages and opt in or opt out choices.
If you do not comply with this you can receive a fixed penalty from the Pensions Regulator. Confused? Our team can advise!
State pensions and occupational pensions
There are many other types of pensions to help you in your retirement. Some may allow you to live more comfortably than others.
However, the taxation and investment elements of pensions can sometimes be baffling. The team can specialise in explaining, recommending and monitoring all types of pensions for you. Just talk to us today for more information.
